Hickory Grove Rural School Museum - Ogden, Iowa 
In Ogden is this one-room school, constructed in 1889, continued in service until 1956.
Included in the museum are:
Original double desks, stage curtain, pot bellied stove, angle lamps, and pump organ.
Early text books, documents, and photographs of rural schools in Boone County.
Authentic teachers’ and children’s costumes.
Open June through August 1:30 to 4:00 pm, 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month

Directions – From Boone, take Highway 30 West to Ogden turn Right (North) on P70 through Ogden and follow 5 miles north with Don Williams Recreation on the right. Take the second entrance to reach the school.
