
The Wolf Train and the Dinner Train trips are each twenty-two miles round-trip. Riders should allow at least two hours for a trip.

Santa Express™ Trains
Beginning the Saturday after Thanksgiving
Ride to the North Pole, hear Christmas stories and sing carols along the way.
At the North Pole, Santa will board the train, and give each child a silver bell.
Cookies and hot chocolate served on board.
The Dinner Train
Experience elegant railroad dining as it was in the 1950′s. This relaxing two hour and thirty minute scenic ride through the Des Moines River Valley features historic 1950′s railcars which were used on the Union Pacific Railroad’s “City” trains. This train utilizes the same route as our 1920′s excursion trains, crossing the 156′ tall Bass Point Creek High Bridge on its way through the valley. Due to the age of these cars they are NOT handicap accessible. The train departs promptly at 5:30 PM. All tickets for all ages are $55 each.
1920’s Excursion Trains
These operate from May 29 through October 31. They run on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday with one departure at 1:30 PM. On Saturday it departs at both 1:30 PM and 4 PM. The steam locomotive is scheduled to pull Saturday trains only from Memorial Day weekend through Oct. 31.
Fees: Bench seating with a window at every seat, access to restrooms and concessions but no climate control are Adults: $16; 3-12 $5 and Under 3 are free in arms. Open-Air seating Adults: $20, 3-12: $7 and under 3 free in arms. Want the Caboose? It has no access to restrooms or concessions and the fees are Adults $20, 3 – 12 $10 and under 3 free in arms.

Do you have a Thomas the Train weekend scheduled for 2009? I am interested in bringing my grandchildren to ride the train and thought that would be the time to bring them. If so can you give me the hours and cost for the ride. and can I buy tickets in advance? Thank you.
