Farm House Museum – Ames, Iowa
This was the first building erected after Iowa took advantage of the Land Grant Act and founded Iowa State College and Model Farm. It appears now as it did in the era between 1860 and 1910. In its collection it has over 6,000 pieces of Victorian decorative art and antique furnishings.

Directions – turn north off of U. S. Highway 30 onto Knoll Road; go to its intersection with Osborn Drive
Hours – noon – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Sunday (closed holidays)
