Boone Speedway is a 1/3 mile high banked dirt oval located on the south side of Boone, Iowa. The track runs modifieds, stock cars, hobby stocks, SportMods. Races are held on Saturday nights sanctioned by the IMCA.

During the first week of September, Boone Speedway holds the Speedway Motor’s IMCA SuperNationals racing event. Many of the top drivers from across the United States come to Boone to compete in the weeklong event. The event is the crown jewel of the series. Making the final feature is considered a career highlight.

Spectators – who attended all six sessions and paid the daily admission price in 2007 had a chance to witness 343 races and 3,155 laps of racing during the six-day event. That broke down to 20.3 cents per race and 2.1 cents per lap.

  1. Nothing to complain about…..just wondering if you could tell me when the Boone supernationals are this year and what is the closest hotel by the track?

    The information I could find on the supernationals at the Boone Speedway is that they will be on Sept 1 – 6 IMCA Super Nationals.
    The hotels that are close to the Speedway are the Super 8 at 515-432-8890 and the Baymont Inn & Suites at (515) 432-8168 or toll free at 877-229-6668.
