For over 85 years the community of Gladbrook has held a Corn Carnival for the residents and visitors to their town.

The summertime celebration, held in July, has everything you could want in a small town celebration. There are fireworks, concerts by the high school band, Litte Miss and Mr. Corn Carnival adn a Kiddies Parade. There is a carnival for all to enjoy.

Then on day 2 there is a Grand Parade in the evening followed by a dance. There are cribbage and darts tournaments during the day and a youth horseshoe tournament too.

On day 3 there is the city wide breakfast in the park, the antique tractor ride, card tournaments and corn cook-off.
