Octagon Center For The Arts - Ames, Iowa
A major regional art center in Ames, Iowa featuring local, regional and national art exhibitions. Tours and art programs are available.
There is a museum gift shop which offers works by Iowa and midwest artists. This facility offers year around art education for all ages.

Tama County Historical Museum - Toledo, Iowa
The county museum is located in a former jail, built in 1870 and used until 1970. Displayed inside are Native American and pioneer artifacts, such as tools, utensils, toys, musical instruments, furniture, clothing, military uniforms. Included in the Native American display are unique examples of clothing, bead work, and paintings that relate to the local Meskwaki tribe. The rugged terrain and forested hills lured Czech immigrants to this area and one of their log cabins has been moved and re-erected near the jail.

Matthew Edel Blacksmith Shop - Marshalltown, Iowa
In 1883 Mathew Edel, a German immigrant, opened his blacksmith shop. It continued to operate until 1940. It is fully restored for you to see.
In 1915 Mathew’s son, Louis, opened a mechanic shop in the building next to the blacksmith shop.

Oak View II Hunting Club - Runnells, Iowa
You will be on private hunting grounds and may hunt as many pheasants, chukar and quail as you wish at Oak View II game bird hunting preserve.
Enjoy the extended hunting season, from September 1st through March 31st, with no bag limits.
North Cedar Creek Hammond Covered Bridge - Attica, Iowa 
The historic Hammond covered bridge was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. It is a timber and iron, 8-panel Howe through truss structure with a single, 78-foot long span. Two more modern approach spans bring the total bridge length to 178 feet. The roadway deck width is 13.3 feet.

Marshall County Historical Museum - Marshalltown, Iowa
The Museum is the center for study of significant items of the collections covering numerous areas of the life and history of the area.

Story Theater/Grand Opera House - Story City, Iowa
Story City offers you the opportunity to visit the oldest continuously running theater in Iowa. Listed on the National Register of Hisotric Places, this restored grand opera house stage is celebrating 91 years of entertainment.
International Wrestling Institute And Museum - Waterloo, Iowa
This museum in Waterloo, Iowa explores the history of one of the world’s oldest sports. It features displays on famous wrestlers, including Dan Gable, Iowa’s Olympian wrestler. Other persons visitors can learn about are Rocky Marciano, Frank Botch, and Verne Gagne.
Story County Conservation Center - Ames, Iowa
In McFarland Park located in Ames, Iowa, is the headquarters for the County Conservation Board’s Environmental Education Program which has both indoor and outdoor areas that can be visited. Inside there are exhibits of both flora and fauna native to the area. Outside visitors can observe the butterfly garden and the habitats of different wildlife.

International Center For Rural Culture And Art - Allerton, Iowa The 93 acre site just outside of Allerton, Iowa, is home to a fully restored 1912 round barn, 1887 country church and 1868 country school. The fully restored 50-foot diameter barn, originally built in 1912, features a spectacular loft, free of any support columns due to its web-like construction. Restoraton of the 1869 country schoolhouse is complete and restoration is underway on the 1887 New York Christian Church.
