The Homestead Church is an excellent example of a Community of True Inspiration church. It was built in 1865 of locally made brick. The Homestead Church originally had living quarters for community members on both ends with the Saal (meeting hall) occupying the long middle section.

This scenic golf course, from the championship tee, stretches over 7000 yards of rolling Iowa terrain, and plays to a par 72 with a USGA course rating of 74.1 and slope rating of 132. Large undulating greens, contoured fairways, strategically located bunkers, hundreds of new trees, and newly added tees add to the difficulty of this very demanding golf course.
