The Arboretum was a gift to the public in 1970 by bickelhaupt.gifBob and Frances Bickelhaupt. The area surrounding their home has been turned into an outdoor museum for all to enjoy.

The Visitor’s Center features an auditorium and in the entrance area a museum display of native animals and birds. There is a free lending horticultural library. Conducted tours for groups can be arranged by appointment.
