Clinton County Historical Society Museum - Clinton, Iowa
The museum features displays relating to the heritage of Clinton and Clinton County in Iowa.
The Clinton County Historical Society was established in 1965 to promote and preserve the history of Clinton County. To achieve these goals, the Society has several activities including the Clinton County Historical Museum, Living History Day and tours to historic sites in the county.
Cedar Rock The Walter House -Quasqueton, Iowa
The Walter Residence designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is one of Wright’s most complete designs. Wright designed the furniture, selected the carpets, chose the draperies and even picked out the accessories. Cedar Rock was begun in 1948 and completed in 1950. It’s roof and floors are concrete; the walls are brick, glass and walnut.

The restored 1800’s and 1900’s Victorian homes offer an opportunity to see the different architectural styles of the creative designers of the period.
Buffalo Bill Cody Museum, Leclaire, Iowa
Along the Mississippi River in LeClaire, Iowa is a museum that was developed to honor the memory of William F. Cody, or "Buffalo Bill" Cody. LeClaire was the birthplace of Cody. Some of the museum’s exhibits help to mark his place in history; other displays tell of the steamboat era on the Mississippi. A wooden-hull sternwheeler, the Lone Star, is on display; also the museum has a model of the "black box" used on airplanes.
Buffalo Bill Cody Homestead, LeClaire, Iowa
This home is located in LeClarie, Iowa, built in 1847 by William Cody’s father, the farm house is constructed of native limestone.
The Homestead has been restored and furnished with items typical of the mid-19th century. Cody Homestead is nestled in scenic hillside overlooking the rich Iowa prairie where buffalo and long horn cattle graze on the land surrounding the house. The Cody Homestead is comfortably air conditioned in the summer.
Bickelhaupt Arboretum - Clinton, Iowa -
The Arboretum was a gift to the public in 1970 by
Bob and Frances Bickelhaupt. The area surrounding their home has been turned into an outdoor museum for all to enjoy.
The Visitor’s Center features an auditorium and in the entrance area a museum display of native animals and birds. There is a free lending horticultural library. Conducted tours for groups can be arranged by appointment.
Bellevue Butterfly Garden - Bellevue, Iowa -
Bellevue State Park has a garden specifically to attract butterflys by providing nectar plants for adults and host plants for caterpillars. Some 60 species of butterflies expected to come to the park each year.

The old Hotel Williams, built in 1874 in Wyoming, Iowa, has been renovated and now houses the town’s historical museum. This features an unusual display of drug store items. Like many Iowa drug stores, this collection also includes items from an old-fashioned ice cream parlor. There are replicas of an old dental office and an old barbershop.
Adler Theatre - Davenport, IowaThe massive renovation of the Adler Theatre began in 1984 and continued for two years. The building was essentially gutted and then restored to its former Art Deco elegance.
