Eagle City Winery - Ackley, Iowa
Eagle City Winery - Ackley, Iowa in 1992 Ken began making wine from the various wild fruits and berries that grew on and around their acreage such as elderberries, raspberries, mulberries, chokecherries and wild plums. In1996 they began planting a small vineyard.
The Eagle City Winery was completed in June of 2000 and obtained state and federal Class A wine permits as well as label approval for 5 varieties of wine. These are Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling and Cranberry wine. They started selling wine, both retail and wholesale in mid-December of 2000.
Dows Mercantile Store - Dows, Iowa
In an historic, two-story brick business, the Mercantile Fillmore Building built in 1894 in Dows, Iowa, the present owners offer antiques, crafts, and gifts in both sides, in the basement, and on a balcony. They also have an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, the Crème-De-La-Crème Ice Cream Shop, on the main floor where one can enjoy coffee, tea, cider, cookies, rolls, pie, ice cream, or soup and sandwich.
Country Carvers Woodcarving Museum - Parkersburg, Iowa
Parkersburg offers in this museum a variety of hand carved items, ranging from miniatures to intricately carved larger animals. Many of them have been crafted by Richard Lewis, others have been done by local woodcarvers.

Founded in 1935 to promote pleasure and competitive sailing, for all ages. The club offers schooling, competition, and enjoyment. The Yacht Club organizes several sailing fleets, Optomists, X, MC, C, E, Cougars and Hobie Cats each season, giving sailors ample opportunities to compete and test their skills.
Clear Lake Fire Museum - Clear Lake, Iowa
Description – This building was created by the Clear Lake Volunteer Fire Department. It resembles early fire stations because of its multi-level, arched engine doors. In their exhibits they have an 1883 hand-pulled hose cart, a 1924 antique fire extinguishers, Arends-Fox pumper truck, newspaper clippings, and more.

The Clear Lake Arts Center in Clear Lake Iowa, is an arts sales gallery for local and regional artists, as well as exhibit and learning space.
The Arts Center is located in Downtown Clear Lake. Along with the wonderful diversity of shops for those looking for unique items, the Arts Center offers the opportunity to purchase, or just view, creations of regional artists.
Chautauqua Building - Sac City, Iowa
Visit the Chautauqua Building - Sac City, Iowa which was built in 1908. The Chautauqua Building is the last remaining building of its kind in Iowa. It is an enclosed auditorium built to house programs that included lectures, humor, singing, instrumental concerts and preaching. Famous orators such as William Jennings Bryant and Sen. Robert M. La Follete spoke from the stage here. Currently, the building is used for events, community gatherings and family picnics.
CHARLES H. MACNIDER MUSEUM - Mason City, Iowa
Description – This museum features a permanent collection of American art dating from the 19th century. It also has an extensive collection of puppets both created by and collected by Bil Baird, a Mason City native. The museum has an extensive program of temporary exhibits, film showings, concerts, and classes. Part of the collection is displayed in an English Tudor Revival-style mansion, the remaining in contemporary additions.
Charles City Art Center - Charles City, Iowa
After building a new library, the citizens of Charles City found a use of the old library endowed by Andrew Carnegie and built in 1904. Now it is the local art center. It houses an art gallery, art library, and classroom facilities. They have developed a permanent collection of fine art items; in addition there are various temporary exhibits during each year and space for programs.
Chapel Hill - Fertile, Iowa
Just outside of Fertile visitors can view an old pioneer cemetery. Nearby is a miniature church with 4 pews.
