Carrie Lane Chapman Catt House - Charles City, Iowa
This house in Charles City is one of the homes of Carrie Lane Chapman Catt who spent her adult life working for women’s rights. She was a “pioneer” in this cause and led the struggle to give women the right to vote. It is currently being restored, and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
Tanglefoot Girl Scout Camp in Clear Lake, Iowa
With over 3000 Girl Scouts attending camp each summer whether it is for a one night experience or as long as 18 days, the influence of camp will be a building experience for years to come.
Non-Girl Scouts and parents and families are also welcome at the camp.
Camp Quaker Heights - Eldora, Iowa
The Friends (Quaker) church camp at Camp Quaker Heights in Eldora, Iowa is a beautiful setting with great history. The camp sits on the bluff of the river with swimming, fishing and fellowship.
The men organized in 1946 with the development of a Youth Camp as their first and major project.
Calkins Nature Area - Iowa Falls, Iowa
The county conservation commission has preserved a 70-acre area that has native timber and excellent stands of woodland wild flowers near Iowa Falls. One can also visit wetland and marsh areas. Conservationists have worked to develop stands of prairie flora such as existed in the 1850s.
Calhoun County Museum and Machinery Exhibit - Rockwell City, Iowa
In a former school building are displayed 34 different types of rooms with their antique furnishings. Also found there are stuffed birds and animals and vintage clothing. Replicas of an old-time post office and bank are displayed.

In Manly, Iowa a Rock Island Railroad caboose has been restored. Artifacts about railroading and the area are displayed inside.

For those that want to remember great music, super talent and honor their memory, the stainless steel guitar with three records is the appropriate memorial.
Bonebright Museum Complex - Webster City, Iowa
An Illinois Central Railroad Depot has been restored and it anchors a complex of historical buildings and sites. These have been located on a 9-acre site near Brewer Creek and have been placed here to recreate the history of Hamilton County.
Armstrong House Museum - Britt, Iowa
The home of the Hancock County Historical Society in Britt is located in a Queen Anne-style house built circa 1896. This building includes two, three-story high corner towers, several upper-story balconies, and a wrap-around porch. It is furnished with period furniture.
African And North American Wildlife Museum - Sheffield, Iowa
