Waterloo Community Playhouse and Black Hawk Children’s Theater - Waterloo, Iowa

This theater group was founded over 90 years ago to provide quality theater to the Cedar Valley area.  Waterloo Community Playhouse is the oldest community theatre in Iowa.

The theater group encourages anyone with an interest in theater to volunteer, joining the 800 that assist with productions annually.  The theater also has classes to assit those both young and old on developing their acting ability.

Auditions for performances are held at the Walker Building, all actors are volunteers as well as the support staff.
