Prairie Pedlar – Odebolt, Iowa
A Sears & Roebuck, bow-truss barn was rescued and moved to the site. In its lower level, a gift show has been developed. Many of the items—wreaths, swags, and bouquets—are handcrafted from the summer harvest. Evidences of the harvest appear in the upper level where the varieties are sorted, bundled, and hung to dry. A country schoolhouse has also been refurbished.
There are seasonal events: spring open house in April, garden festival in July, and a moonlight garden party sometime in August or September. Guided garden tours are conducted each Sunday afternoon in July and August, weather permitting. Private garden tours for groups and clubs may be arranged.

about the moonlight garden party….the lights are pretty…. but…. you can see the gardens much much better by day light …. the place where they had the food needed screen doors in places where they just had open doorways…. the guy who talked was long winded and at more times then not boring…. they should have charged less…. had more stuff to give away….and taken a lot more care with the food ……
