Rock Forest School – Peterson, Iowa is one of the first frame school houses in Clay County in Iowa. It was completely restored and furnished in 1963 by the Peterson Lions Club.
This school joins others in the state for the restored one room schools for the visitor to the area to tour to get a sense of how classes were taught in the past. Have a great experience tasting history while visiting Clay County in Iowa.
