 It all began with a giant toboggan waterslide. Pioneer developer, Wesley Arnold built this thrilling ride to draw visitors to his lakeshore property back in the late 1800s. Before long, the park evolved into a full-scale Coney Island-style destination. HistoricArnoldsPark is one of the longest operating amusement parks in the world. Visitors come from all over the Midwest to ride the original wooden roller coaster; take in the breathtaking lake view from the Ferris wheel, and dance the night away under the stars at PreservationPlaza.

Today, HistoricArnoldsPark still features many timeless rides and attractions – the Queen II excursion boat, live concerts, special events, dining, shopping, water rentals, sandy beaches and the IowaGreat LakesMaritimeMuseum – all nestled on the shores of LakeOkoboji.

The wildest woody in the Midwest is located in ArnoldsParkAmusement Park. Built in 1927, the Legend roller coaster is actually the 13th oldest wooden roller coaster in the U.S. Other classic park favorites include go-karts, bumper cars, the Tilt-a-Whirl, the Tipsy House and the Mirror Maze.
