Sac City hosts the only existing “complete” Chautauqua structure in the state. It was built in 1908, in the heyday of this type of education and entertainment.
The whole building has been renovated. Historical murals help tell the story about this unique era. Additional information is also available. There is a 1850s log cabin in the park area nearby.
