Visit this exact replica of the Little House on the Prairie as seen in the TV series. It was completely constructed by hand and without blueprints. It is surrounded by several acres of natural prairie grasses. Privately built and owned by Howard Argabright.
When you are in the Emmetsburg area, this will make a nice stop to bring back the memories of a wonderful time in life.
Although it is only open during the warm season, you can certainly enjoy the visit.

Your replica little house is a wonderful tribute to the television Ingall’s family. I have been trying to locate a replica toy village to enjoy in my home. I am the same age as Melissa Sue Anderson and watched the series back in the 70’s. My daughter and I have enjoyed watching it again together. Each and every character feels like family as they portray healthy good morals that we just don’t see any more. The dvd set is wonderful and will be enjoyed someday when I have grandkids. Until then I would love to find a little village, much like the ones we display at Christmas time. If you know of one, I would be very interested because my family are connected in such a special way.
