Mid America Museum of Aviation & Transportation is located at 2600 Expedition Court on the N.E. corner of Sioux Gateway Airport in Sioux City IA.
On display are classic cars, turn of the century horsedrawn road grader, a Curtiss
P-40 Warhawk salvaged from the Florida Everglades, classic emergency vehicles,
a UH-1 helicopter, displays from World War I & II, Korea, Viet Nam, Sioux City’s
185th Tactical Fighter Squadron (now 185th Air Refueling Wing), United Flight 232
display, a 1941 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special w/sunroof used by Pres Harry S. Truman’s Vice President Alben Barkley in Omaha NE for a 1949 inaugural parade.
Mid America Museum of Aviation & Transportation is located on 15 acres of ground
with outside attractions of a Boeing 727 retired by FedEx and gifted to the museum,
a C-123 cargo plane and a British Argosy.

The museum is open daily except Wednesday with admission fee of $6.00 for adult, $5.00 for seniors and active military and $3.00 for students age 5-14. Museum phone is 712-252-5300
