Description – The museum displays early farm machinery and equipment, including a large collection of Corliss stationary steam engines, steam traction engines and steam-powered threshing machines. Other features are interpretive exhibits dedicated to farm women, water, electricity, and antique farm implements which are displayed in and near a implement store. Many of the engines and machines operate during the Midwest old Threshers Reunion, a 5-day event ending Labor Day.

Admission – Admission $3 to Heritage Museum, $5 to Heritage Museum and Theatre Museum. During the Reunion, admission to entire complex is $7 (single day) or $15 (multiple days). Children under 15 are admitted free to the museums and during the reunion.

Directions – west of the junction of US 218 and US 34, south on Walnut Street, at 407 East Threshers Road

Hours – Monday – Friday 8-4:30, mid-April to mid-October; (also 9-4:30 Sat. and Sun, Memorial Day-Labor Day; closed some holidays

    Hello.. My father passed away back in 79 and left a one inch scale case traction engine that he built over the years .. I would like to put it someplace so it can be displayed .. Could you give me some ideas on a nice home for the engine … Thanks for your time… Elmer
