Kiwanis Museum Complex – Onawa, Iowa

In the area of Onawa visitors can tour several different examples of Iowa in the nineteenth century. The restored Chicago and NorthWestern Railroad depot houses more than 800 items of railroad memorabilia. Nearby one can look at a country school restored to its early appearance and its historical school items, country church, log cabin, firehouse/jail, and blacksmith shop. A C NW caboose is located close to the depot.
