Lenox Rodeo – Lenox, Iowa The third week of July is Lenox Rodeo Week.

The week begins with a parade and the Chamber’s Old Fashioned Fun Night on Wednesday evening. There is a variety of food to sample along with watching the parade.

Thursday – Saturday nights the rodeo commences with youth evetns, usually consisting of mutton bustin’ and steer riding at 7. Then the grand entry of all the participants, a special presentation byt he Lenox Stock and Saddle Club riders and the main events at 8 each night.

There is handicapped seating available, clean restroom facilities are adjacent to the arena.

The Lenox Rodeo was named Rodeo of the year in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. It narrowly missed the distinction in 2005 and the winner of 2006 has not yet been revealed.

Location: The grounds are located on East Iowa St. in the south east part of Lenox. It is to the north of the high school and across the street from the baseball field.
