Lamoni Civil War Days Reenactment - Lamoni, Iowa Labor Day weekend celebration in Lamoni consists of the Civil War Days Reenactment.

Relive the 1860’s with this entertaining and educational event for the whole family. The Civil War Dasy begins at 10:30 am on Saturday in teh Central Park with a period fashion show, interactive craft demonstraitons of candle making, rug braiding, rope making, corn husk weaving, quilt and textile presentaitons, children’s games, music, period dance and cemetery tours. 

Civil War battles with artillery, cavalry and infantry begin at 2 pm. You can tour Union and Rebel camps, see soldiers quarters, general store and the hospital.

Admission and parking are both free.

Directions: Lomoni is on route I-35, 110 miles north of Kansas City and 75 miles south of Des Moines.
