Guthrie County Historical Village - Panora, Iowa

The Guthrie County Historical Village, located on a beautiful 4-acre complex near the Middle Raccoon River and old Lenon Mill Park, this complex in Panora, Iowa, features ten buildings and numerous exhibits that explore the history of Guthrie County from 1850 to the early-20th Century. 

Visitors will find the following: log cabin, general store, Milwaukee Railroad depot with a caboose, church, one-room country school, and blacksmith shop.

Also exhibited there are antiques and artifacts relating to Guthrie County history and a coal mine display. One hall is devoted to farm implements.

Admission – Small admission fee is charged, there is also a donation box for free-will donations which are always appreciated.
