This four hundred and forty-four acre recreation area has over one hundred campsites, some with electricity. This county park boasts of having a seventy-acre lake that is good for fishing and swimming. There is a large beach and a bathhouse. Boating is permitted on the lake. The park has picnic areas and biking and hiking trails. Visitors can view native timber and study a small prairie restoration effort. A herd of live buffalo is also located in the park.
